Arigato Maxx

Mount Fuji meets the Matterhorn: sushi with "Der scharfe Maxx". What’s the most delicious way to bring two cultures together? Fusion cooking the Swiss way.

Ingredients (for 4 people):

150 g "Der scharfe Maxx"
400 g cooked sushi rice
2 avocados
1 cucumber
1 glass dried tomatoes
2 tbsp. chopped pine nuts
100 ml olive oil
4 nori sheets
Freshly ground salt and pepper
1 sushi mat

Preparation:1.

Allow the tomatoes to drain and then puree finely with the "Der scharfe Maxx", pine nuts, and olive oil. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.

2.

Place the nori sheets (shiny side facing down) on the sushi mat and spread rice on top. Leave 1.5 cm on the edge free.

3.

Spread the dried tomato paste over half of the rice.

4.

Place the cheese lengthwise in the middle of the paste (cheese sticks of approx. 1 cm), and place the cucumber above it and the avocado below it.

5.

Brush water onto the free edge of the nori sheets and roll together fully using the sushi mat.

6.

Cut the sushi roles with a sharp knife (clean the knife with hot water after every cut).

7.

Serve the finished sushi with soy, wasabi, and pink ginger as desired.
